HOT SHEET, returns to Downstairs at the Department Store for another exciting group exhibition. This salon-style exhibition seeks to celebrate the use of photography within art, featuring works by emerging artists. Our aim is to support and cultivate the photographic landscape with projects that utilise and challenge photographic styles and tropes.

Hot Sheet made its first art fair debut last week at Cluster photography & print fair at the Ugly Duck. Exhibition 6 Hot sheet artist, Robert Brunton, Jake Gill, Joseph Horton, Thomas Moen, Jasper Jones, and Mark Tamer. The Hot Sheet ‘gray space’ exhibited some new work newly all the artists and seeks present the Hot Sheet feel within a commercial art fair environment. Artists Thomas Moen and Joseph Horton exhibition new work which will be apart of their MA graduation shows later this year (Thomas at the RCA and Joseph at the University of the West of England). Jasper Jones exhibited his new series vines and Mark Tamer exhibited alongside other projects Dis-location a new project in the making. This was a great step for Hot Sheet in its evolution and we look forward to exhibiting is new spaces soon.
We are pleased to announce that Hot Sheet will be returning this year with a new group of talented artists. The aim of this year’s show is to build upon the high standard of work exhibited and to bring a must needed emerging platform to the crazy photographic month of May.
