Robert Brunton

Robert Brunton is London based photographer, who’s images explore the relationship between the natural landscape and the artificial constructs imposed upon it.

His photography documents man made structures in anonymous locations, highlighting the homogeneity of the post-industrial landscape. The physical absence of people presents a sense of uncertainty and detachment referencing a collective alienation in our modern globalised world.

The presence of vegetation works in contrast to the drab uniformity of concrete reminding us that ultimately all human constructs are temporary and fragile in the face of nature.
