Hanneke Klaver and Tosca Schift studied product design at ArtEZ in Arnhem, The Netherlands. During their studies they developed a shared interest in the open interpretation of functionality in the world of objects. After graduation they joined forces as the collective ‘Ant Eye’ which stands for an anti-philosophy. They belief that useless things are more useful then useful things are. Through humour and unorthodox design, they invite the public to cross predictable standards. Their work results in video art, objects and performances.
